Reminder for Holliman Families, Our Principal Led Open House will take place this evening from 6pm - 7:30pm. Please walk from the parking lot to the blacktop behind the school. At 6:15, we will gather in front of the DJ area where there will a welcoming and brief announcements. Please consider visiting the PTA, VOWS, Food Service table or Haven Bros. Ice Cream Truck prior to visiting classrooms. We will have student volunteers throughout the school to help guide you to and from classrooms. Students can join in on some line dancing at the DJ area. Please be sure to check out our new library - AKA 21st Century Learning Space. Ice Cream Truck! Music and line dancing as well! Current and former Holliman Hornets will help to direct families to classrooms. Good Afternoon, Holliman buses 14 and 47 will be put on bus 51 today. The students riding buses 14 and 47 should arrive around their regularly scheduled drop off time this afternoon.

The following buses have the possibility of running late, Holliman Bus 14 added to Bus 51 which includes buses providing coverage (even if it is for another school). * Please note, ALL buses have the possibility of being 5 min early, or up to 15 min late, on any given day, due to unforeseen obstacles* * Please wait outside for buses. Waiting inside delays buses & runs the risk of students missing the bus.* Please arrive on time but be patient if the bus runs late. If you have somebody other than the guardians who receive Aspen generated emails & calls, caring for your child, please update them with changes.

Families will still be able to visit classrooms and tour the new library - the 21st century learning space. The Haven Bros. Ice Cream will be on site for ice cream novelty purchases. ***Volunteers Needed*** 1. Trunk or Treat Committee - We have a chair (person who will lead the committee) but we need people to join the committee. If we don't have enough people to form the committee, we will not be able to put on this event. 2. 5th Grade Committee - We are looking for 5th grade parents who would like to join this year-long committee to plan fun events and activities for the graduating class. 3. School Store - We are looking for volunteers who are available between 11:15am and 1:15pm on Fridays to help at our School Store. (You do not need to be available every Friday.)
