Hello K families! We look forward to welcoming you on 9/5/23 for our first day of school. We know this is a very exciting (and scary) time! We will have a table set up outside to the left of the awning at the front entrance. We will greet you, give your child a nametag, and of course be available to snap a photo or 2. We will line your children up on the sidewalk either under the awning or along the building depending on how congested this area becomes. We will enter the building at approximately 9:00 in a perfect 1st day of Kindergarten line. For the remainder of the year students being dropped off will be dropped off in this same spot, walk along the building on the sidewalk, and enter the cafeteria via the side door where they will be met by school staff and be supervised until the school day begins. Dear Families, Aspen rosters are tentative. We have many shifts going on behind the scenes and no class list or class assignment is set in stone. We understand that waiting can be difficult, and students are looking forward to who their new teachers will be in just a few weeks, but again, ask you to please be patient as we finish what we need to do on the back end of things at our schools. Students and families will find out who their new teachers are on the first day of school. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Good Afternoon Holliman Families,  On Wednesday, August 30th from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, I will be hosting an orientation for all students who are new to Holliman this school year New Kindergarten students who were not able to attend KIDS day in the spring are also welcome to attend! Please gather around the Holliman sign when you arrive. We will then have a tour of the building and review some general procedures and routines. REMINDER FROM WPS: ASPEN WILL BE *UNAVAILABLE* STARTING AT MIDNIGHT, WEDNESDAY AUGUST 16TH AND SEVERAL DAYS FOLLOWING FOR MOST USERS, WHILE THE END-OF-YEAR ROLLOVER PROCEDURES ARE RUN! All User accounts of all types will be Expired as of 11:59pm TONIGHT, Tuesday Aug 15th. These procedures and post-rollover tasks take several days to complete, and most parts require zero users in the system while they run. Once completed, Aspen will be fully in the new school year 2023-24, and users will be enabled again in phases over the next several days. Good morning Holliman families ! Construction is under way on our new parking lot and bus loop. Please call Miss Ann at 401-734-3170 before heading to Holliman to pick up any belongings that may have been left behind.

Good Afternoon Holliman Families! Happy first day of summer vacation! Starting on June 26th, work will begin on our parking lot, bus loop, blacktop, etc. If your child has any belongings here at school that you need to pick up, please call Miss Ann at 734-3170 before heading to Holliman. She will provide you with information on when someone will be at Holliman and if you need to park off site. Please note that Miss Ann is off today. Hello. Holliman bus 59 will be added to bus14. This bus has the potential for running late.

Holliman has been deemed safe per the WFD. Students have returned to their classrooms.

Holliman families , due to a gassy odor in one of our classrooms we have evacuated the building. Students are safe outside and with their teachers. Maintenance has confirmed that the smell is most likely not threatening. However the fire department is on their way to verify that the building is safe. I will be back in touch as soon as the building has been cleared to re enter.

Holliman 5th Grade Families, One last update... Please bring your own lawn chair to the ceremony. Thank you!

It is a beautiful day for our 5th grade ceremony! The ceremony will begin at 10:00am in the Holliman field. Please park in designated parking spots and avoid parking in restricted no parking areas. Siblings of 5th graders will be escorted to the field by a staff member and will be united with their family. The staff member will remain at the ceremony. Students must be signed out if they are being dismissed early. Sign out sheets will be available after the ceremony. So excited for our 5th graders!!

Holliman families , Bus 6 will be completing bus 47's route. They will be back on the route momentarily.
