January 16, 20, 21, and 22
Mid-year assessments are Friday, January 16, 2026 through Thursday,
January 22, 2026. Assessments will run by period. Each day there will be two
exams, one for each period. Please reference the schedule below.
Pay close attention to the following:
1. Absence: a parent or guardian must call the school before the exam block on
the day of the assessment. If an absence is not accounted for, the student
will not be able to make-up the assessment.
2. Time: the first assessment begins at 7:30 am but students must be in the
room by 7:25 am each day. Students who arrive late, after 7:30 am must
report to their Assistant Principal. Late arrivals will have to schedule a
make-up assessment with the Department Chair.
3. If a student only has the second exam, he/she may arrive at 9:30 for the
second assessment of the day if they have their own transportation.
4. Buses will only run on the normal morning schedule . Students who only
have one assessment and take the bus may quietly stay in the cafeteria until
9:40 if coming in on the morning bus.
5. Breakfast will be available in the cafeteria from 7:00 to 7:20 am during
assessment days.
6. Assessment days are considered regular school days so all school rules
such as dress code and all the other rules dealing with student behavior
including: “no electronic devices, headphones, cell phones or pajamas.”
7. Students are expected to bring the necessary materials to their
assessments; charged Chromebooks, pencils, pens, calculators, etc.
Students are required to stay in their room for the entire two hour period.
NO STUDENT will be dismissed early. Students should be prepared to sit
silently until the period ends to avoid disruptions.
8. Students WILL NOT be dismissed to the lavatory or nurse unless it is an
emergency.
9. A limited option of hot lunch will be available to students to be eaten in the
cafe from 11:35 to 11:50. Buses will arrive at 11:50 am. Please check the
special bus routes and numbers for the exam days as this is different from the
